Digital Photography I ART-143
Introduces the basic concepts of digital imaging as applied to photography. Using applicable technology and hands-on experience, modern developments are presented leading to the present applications of digital imaging which combine traditional photographic ideas with electronic media. Enables the student to learn how to operate image manipulation software using a variety of scanning equipment, software tools, and output devices by executing new assignments and applying these technologies to their photographic process. NOTE: ABOUT CAMERAS FOR THIS CLASS:
Although DSLR is the preferred camera for this class, any advanced digital camera capable of Manual Exposure Control (“M” on the exposure dial) will work.
