Boston: Polaroid Corp. – known for making photography instant – announced last Friday that it will stop making instant film after 60 years. It will close three plants in Massachusetts and overseas. Polaroid filed for bankruptcy in 2001.
Another era in photography gone! Fujifilm will continue producing its instant film version.
Few of Polaroid instant films will work for producing the unique Polaroid Image Transfer process shown below:
