Polaroid quits film. Another era ends.

Boston: Polaroid Corp. - known for making photography instant - announced last Friday that it will stop making instant film after 60 years. It will close three plants in Massachusetts and overseas. Polaroid filed for bankruptcy in 2001.
Another era in photography gone! Fujifilm will continue producing its instant film version.

Alcove books chose one of my Holga Toy Camera images for its upcoming 2009 promo advertising its “2009 Art of Seeing” book.
The book is distributed to art buyers and galleries. Acceptance to the book is through a juried process.
